Get Off I-10 and Explore Our Florida
This collection of 15 self-guided tours invites travelers to 70 “Must See” sites — some off the beaten path while others are mere minutes from the interstate. Each is oriented North or South of I-10, beginning with Exit 96 in Holmes County and ending at Exit 192 in Gadsden County. Each itinerary includes driving directions with a keyed attraction map, descriptions, photographs, and illustrated sidebar topics.
The tours cover 987 miles. Most are open loops, which begin at one exit and end at the next. Three Spur Routes connect the beach communities of South Walton, St. George Island and Apalachicola, and Carrabelle to the loop tours. Distances vary from 23 to 148 miles. Most can be completed in a few hours, while others are best experienced over several days.
